The All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association has shared the dates for Eid al-Fitr holidays.
Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain, who leads the association, stated that private schools and colleges all over Pakistan will be closed for Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from April 10th to April 14th.
He mentioned that classes will resume as usual on Monday, April 15, 2024, after the Eid-ul-Fitr break.
Earlier, the government had announced Eidul Fitr holidays lasting for three days for offices with a five-day working week and four days for those operating six days a week.
As per a notification from the Cabinet Division, offices working five days a week will remain closed from Wednesday, April 10th, to Friday, April 12th.
Similarly, for offices with a six-day work week, holidays will extend from Wednesday, April 10th, to Saturday, April 13th. It’s important to note that the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr is anticipated to be on either April 10th or 11th, based on the sighting of the moon.
