These new prices include FED and Sales Tax but not Advance Income Tax, as mentioned in the official notice.
Shafiq Ahmed Shaikh, who is in charge of Corporate Affairs at Pak Suzuki Motor Company, explained that these price cuts are temporary. He said they’re doing this to stabilize the economy and reduce currency changes. He also mentioned how government policies and the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) supported this decision.
This move by Pak Suzuki is happening when other car companies are also adjusting their prices. Lucky Motor Corporation recently reduced the price of KIA’s Stonic EX+ in Pakistan, from Rs. 6,280,000 to Rs. 4,767,000 starting April 29.
Experts in the industry think these price changes are smart moves to increase demand and compete better in the tough car market. Mohammed Abrar, who studies cars at Arif Habib Limited, thinks these actions are about getting more customers in changing market conditions.
