With an estimated 2 million Muslims expected to participate, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially commenced the application process.
Aspiring candidates can submit their applications via the ministry’s website, with the window for submissions remaining open until March 28th. These seasonal roles will be predominantly situated in Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah, encompassing a diverse array of responsibilities crucial for the seamless execution of the Hajj pilgrimage, a significant pillar of Islam.
Among the available positions are Hajj and Umrah supervisors, customer service representatives, mechanical technicians, engineers, and drivers. These roles are integral to ensuring the efficiency and safety of pilgrims throughout their journey.
Notably, the upcoming Hajj is scheduled for June, with the kingdom having already finalized agreements in preparation. The commencement of Hajj flights has already begun, marking the beginning of a process that will unfold over the coming months.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is currently embracing Muslim pilgrims for the Umrah season, coinciding with the ongoing holy month of Ramadan.
