The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out a significant operation in Johar Town on Monday, targeting illegal constructions. Under the guidance of Director General Tahir Farooq, Director Town Planning Four, along with his teams, executed the operation under the supervision of Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali.
During the operation, the LDA teams demolished six illegal constructions and sealed one property. Among the demolished constructions were those located on Plot No. 26 in A-I Military Accounts Society and Plot No. 227 in UET Society. Additionally, illegal structures on Defense Road and a marble shop in Kakezai Society were also demolished. In Johar Town L Block, illegal constructions on Plot No. 970 L and Plot No. 7 AF2 faced demolition.
Furthermore, Plot No. 178 Block B in Nespak Housing Society was sealed by the LDA team. Prior to the operation, several notices had been issued to these properties.
