FPSC Announces 2023 CSS Exam Results: Only 2.96% Pass Rate

fpsc announces 2023 css exam results only 2.96% pass rate

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has declared the outcomes of the Central Superior Services (CSS) exam for 2023, as reported by ARY News.

According to the FPSC, out of the 13,800 individuals who took the exam, only 401 managed to pass the written test. This results in a success rate of merely 2.96%.

The FPSC has suggested 210 of these successful candidates for employment. Adil Riaz has clinched the top position, followed by Shaher Bano in second place, and Oqasha Abrar Rana in third.

Out of the successful candidates, 126 are male while 84 are female. They will now commence their duties in Grade 17 positions.

My Opinion:

It’s concerning to see such a low pass rate in the CSS exam. While it’s undoubtedly a tough examination, perhaps there’s a need to reassess the evaluation criteria or provide better preparatory resources to aspiring candidates. Nonetheless, congratulations to those who managed to secure success in this highly competitive examination.
