The education department in Lahore has declared new summer timings for schools, beginning April 15. This change comes after the Eidul Fitr holidays, which end on April 14, with schools reopening the next day.
To cope with rising temperatures, schools in Lahore will adjust their schedules. Starting next week, schools will open at 7:30 am and close at 1:30 pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the closing time will be 12:00 pm.
Additionally, private schools have also revised their timings for classes ranging from play group to class 10. These schools will commence at 7:30 am, but the closing times vary based on the class level. Play group classes will end at 11:30 am, while Nursery and Prep classes will conclude at 12:30 pm.
