The University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Lahore revealed the outcomes of the BDS first professional annual examination 2023 on Friday. A total of 969 candidates hailing from 16 different dental colleges appeared for the exam. Among these, 829 candidates successfully passed the examination, while 139 candidates unfortunately did not meet the passing criteria. This accounts for an overall success rate of 85.64 percent.
Securing the highest position in the examination, Ayesha Ali Ghuamman from University Medical and Dental College Faisalabad attained an impressive score of 624 out of 700 marks. Following closely, the second and third positions were claimed by students from Islam Dental College, Sialkot. Hafsa Mustafa secured the second position with 610 marks, closely followed by Amal Ishfaq with 608 marks.
