Naumaan Ijaz and Saba Qamar’s original series “Mrs & Mr Shameem” from Zindagi will debut on the platform’s YouTube channel on April 26 at 7:30pm.
Originally aired on Zindagi’s Indian-owned website, the show was previously unavailable for Pakistani viewers. However, the channel has decided to make it accessible on YouTube nearly two years after its initial broadcast.
The series received widespread acclaim for its bold stance on societal norms and its fresh take on love and masculinity. Following the success of “Abdullahpur Ka Devdas,” “Mrs & Mr Shameem” becomes the second original series to grace the platform’s newly established YouTube channel.
In a world where traditional ideas of romance and gender roles reign supreme, “Mrs & Mr Shameem” presents a refreshing narrative. Through the journey of Shameem, portrayed by Ijaz, and Umaina (Saba Qamar), viewers will experience a love that knows no bounds and challenges preconceived notions.
Consisting of 20 episodes, the series will air every Tuesday and Friday at 7:30pm, starting from April 26.

Directed by Kashif Nisar, renowned for dramas like “Dumpukht Aatish E Ishq” and “O Rangreza,” “Mrs & Mr Shameem” has been produced by Nisar and Misbah Shafique, with the script penned by contemporary writer Sajjad Gul.
