Azhar received his early education from Aitchison College and later attended Wellington College. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in Development Economics from the SOAS, University of London and completed his postgraduate diploma in Law from the BPP Law School. In 2005, he was formally called to the Bar at The Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn1.

Political Career
Hammad Azhar joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 2011. His political journey gained momentum when he contested the 2013 Pakistani general election as a PTI candidate from Constituency NA-121 (Lahore-IV).
