The Punjab government has introduced a substantial increase in driving license fees after a gap of two decades. The new fee structure affects various types of licenses across the province. Learner driving license fees have surged from Rs60 to Rs500, while motorcycle license fees now require Rs500 annually instead of the previous Rs550 for five years. Similarly, the fee for car and jeep licenses has risen from Rs950 for five years to Rs1,800 per year.
